I'm constantly going around the world and asked to "explain" digital something or other. This training can take the form of explaining "the cloud" to operations best practice (you need a dev server and production server, and wireframes!) to the inevitable social media training. Interestingly, this time I was asked to come up with a plan to make our B2B sales team more social - after a few conversations, it was clear everyone understood Linkedin and Facebook but nobody real saw the value of Twitter. So i was asked to give a brief (always brief) outline of how twitter could be used for B2B marketing. Put together the below for sales:

Results: Good discussion, zero action. Sigh. Essentially, the sales team challenge is getting good news to the client; I felt Twitter would be a great way to broadcast messages to the client base. However, there was push back since every one believed their client base wasn't savvy enough (though they never are until you give them the option).
